Foresta

Foresta project cover

Context

Overview

Foresta is a company focused on the preservation and restoration of forests through the production of natural materials such as vanilla, coffee, essential oils, and aromatic candles. As a new brand emerging from a sustainability mission, Foresta needs its first website — a platform that not only showcases products but also tells the story behind each environmental initiative. This project focuses on creating a company profile website + integrated product catalog, combining emotion, storytelling, and ease of exploration into a single cohesive digital experience.

Objective

The main objectives of this project:

  • To build Foresta's first digital presence that reflects the brand values — nature, authenticity, and sustainability.
  • To structure content and navigation so that users can understand the company's social mission before viewing products.
  • To create an intuitive and engaging product exploration flow, without losing the essence of storytelling.
  • To prepare the e-commerce UX foundation to be ready for online transactions in the next phase.

Problem

The Challenge

Challenges to face before designing this web interface:

  • [001] As a company profile and product platform without sacrificing focus on either.
  • [002] User experience must remain emotional and inspiring, but not hinder product discovery.
  • [003] The main challenge is to maintain visual consistency while helping users process product information quickly (avoiding cognitive overload).
  • [004] The design should intuitively and visually convey sustainability values without making the page feel text-heavy.

Output

The Solutions

  • [001] Building a two-layer navigation structure, with anchor links on each page so the transition from "story → shopping" feels natural.
    • Layer 1 for brand story (About, Vision, Impact).
    • Layer 2 for product exploration and catalog.
  • [002] Combining hero storytelling elements above and product teasers below each page.
  • [003] Using a consistent card-based layout for all product categories, with standardized colors and typography so each category stays distinct yet harmonious.
  • [004] Transforming long text into visual narratives: a combination of icons, natural illustrations, and concise sentence fragments, accompanied by an "Impact Counter" section to show real contributions.
